EPCE education partner Excelsior College offers free online course in Cybersecurity

EPCE's education partner, Excelsior College, is offering a free web-based course will provide introductory-level curriculum to students interested in cybersecurity careers. This MOOC course titled Introduction to Cybersecurity begins January 27th, and follows the recent launch of the National Cybersecurity Institute (NCI) at Excelsior College, a Washington, DC-based academic and research center that specializes in the development of effective workforce cyber security practices.

EPCE and the Apprenticeship Model Featured in Electric Energy Magazine

EPCE's Apprenticeship Model is featured in an article in the most recent edition of Electric Energy Magazine - a publication of the RMEL. The article delves into some of the details of how EPCE member, Tri-State Generation, has incorporated EPCE's quality online electric power education into their Apprenticeship Training Program. Benefits of this approach include access to industry-developed high quality education, the utility being able to free up limited internal training staff, and the apprentice earning college credits for their coursework.
