EPCE Semi-Annual Coalition Meeting

The EPCE meeting is tailored to bring together professionals from utilities, cooperatives, municipalities, and supporting organizations to provide:

  • Presentations and panel sessions by industry professionals on topics that affect the utility business: The latest on education, training, knowledge transfer and developing the workforce.
  • Interactive roundtable discussions providing benchmarking solutions to current training challenges.
  • Networking breaks, including an EPCE-sponsored dinner, helping to "put a face with a name."

Monday, April 10, 2017 – EPCE Coalition Meeting
9am – 5pm

Tuesday, April 11, 2017 – Tour of ComEd’s Chicago Training Center
8am – 11am

The first of its kind in ComEd’s 130-year history, the center features classroom and indoor training space, an outside training yard, and a 200-seat auditorium. The facility also includes substation and meter training areas, an indoor pole yard, lead splicing bays for underground cable and manhole training areas.

EPCE Meeting attendees receive a complimentary visitor pass to the ELECTRIC POWER Conference, which provides access to the Exhibit Hall, Sessions on the Exhibit floor &, Networking Receptions. EPCE Members can purchase access to the full conference and conference sessions at a discounted rate.

ELECTRIC POWER is offering a Workforce Development Track this year, and EPCE is excited to participate in two sessions on Wednesday, April 12th:

  •  Developing a Transitional Workforce: Key Principles for Managing Employee Transition (9:00-10:15am)
  •  Millennials: Filling the Gap in the US Workforce (1:30-3:30pm)
