Excelsior College is now Excelsior University! Excelsior has experienced name changes in the past, and each change offered unique benefits to our students and academics. This next step in Excelsior’s evolution—becoming known as a university—provides a platform to reach and continue to serve adult students in broader ways. Students and alumni will benefit from the growing prestige of Excelsior University, and we will use this as an opportunity to connect, re-engage, and grow our Excelsior community. Excelsior University has been helping busy working adults earn their degrees since 1971. Excelsior recognizes that adult learners need flexibility, which is why they offer a variety of online programs and degrees. Excelsior’s generous transfer policy allows learners to lower their cost and create a shorter path to degree completion by accepting credits from previously earned college credit, examinations, military training and education and evaluated training such as INPO.
Supports Military Education
Excelsior University was recognized by Military Times EDGE as a “Best for Vets” college. Excelsior’s Lt Col Bryant A. Murray Veterans Center offers resources and information geared for the thousands of men and women who have served our country and now seek to further their education.
